We are presently the leaders in providing English courses on the Romanian market.

In the same time the largest number of top executives running leading local multinational companies and diplomats attend our Romanian and foreign languages courses.

International House is a network of over 160 schools around the world, based in over 52 countries, all committed to the highest standards in education and training. Our goal is to raise language education standards world-wide.

International House was set up in 1953 and in 1963 it organized the first training for English Teachers in the world. Ever since IH has been the pioneering force in the development of practical training courses for teachers. Nowadays, the highest qualification of an English Teacher, the Cambridge DELTA (Diploma of English Language Teaching to Adults) is obtained at the end of a 2 months course created by International House. Many successful English language teaching books have been written by IH teachers past and present (eg. the Headway series, published by Oxford University Press).

International House opened its branch in Bucharest in 2001 when it took over Rom Communicate – Professional Language Training Center, which had been operating in Bucharest since 1998.

We received the number 1 Award in Education in Romania from the Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Council for 3 times so far: in November 2009, in October 2010 and in November 2012.

International House constantly provides language training to more than 100 multinational companies and is the first provider of online courses on the Romanian market.

We currently celebrate 15 YEARS of activity in Romania and 64 YEARS in the world !
