With a vision of positive change through travel and education, Podstel was founded in 2012 when childhood friends Dan, Sam and Jason decided to embark on a travel adventure around the world.
Along the way they explored 50+ countries, interviewing 100s of backpacker’s and visited over 400 hostels, while developing the Podstel concept from the road.
The Podstel concept is simple; we offer more than just a bed. Through community events and inspiring workshops, we empower travellers and locals to come together, share what they love, and learn new skills from each other.
