Casa Jubilee is a women's refuge centre in the village of Bolintin-Deal, on the outskirts of Bucharest, Romania. The refuge centre houses fourteen women, now in their mid-thirties, from socially deprived and abusive backgrounds. They are the legacy of the Ceausescu era when young people were abandoned as "social orphans" and left to the minimal nurturing care of the Romanian State ....
