Our Story:
Acorns is a British Style Nursery open since 2004
All children in Acorns follow a wide and varied programme of learning, known in England as the "Early Years Foundation Stage“the older children follow Year 1 of the National Curriculum of England and Wales
We were the first nursery in Romania to be given official authorization to operate as a 'crèche'
We are leaders in providing training for teachers according to British standards
We have initiated and maintained links with nurseries and schools in Romania and UK

Our Achievements:
We are The first organisation working in education in Romania to be awarded with Investors in People standard
We hold the Every Child Matters Standards Award 2011-2014
We are affiliated to the Council of British International Schools (COBIS)
We are affiliated to International British School of Bucharest
We are member of the British Association for Early Childhood Education, member of the National Literacy Trust (UK) and the National Children's Bureau (UK)
We have initiated and continue to be involved in social responsibility projects related to childcare and early years education (www.facebook.com/acornsfoundation)
